
Samuel H. Gill
Samuel “Sam” Gill was appointed to the CCAC in 2018 and holds the position of representing the general public, and has been an avid coin collector since childhood.
Professionally, Sam is a truck transportation, logistics and technology expert, a Certified Public Accountant, and has had his own successful consulting firm for over 20 years. He is a former executive of the American Trucking Associations in Alexandria, VA and started his career with Arthur Andersen and Company in Washington, DC.
Active in both national and state trucking associations, Sam has helped organize numerous industry coalitions and represented the industry in senior-level task forces, meetings and briefings with Congress, the White House, Office of Management and Budget, IRS, Departments of Transportation, Treasury, and the Defense and the Financial Accounting Standards Board.
Sam serves on the Advisory Board of the Alliance for Driver Safety and Security, a coalition of freight and logistics companies that support safety reforms.
Sam also served on several White House Advance Teams and was involved in the organizing efforts for the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia.
He served on the Citizens Coin Advisory Committee from 2018 to 2022 representing the interests of the general public.
